Early Career Civil Engineer – Site/Land Development/Public Works

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Compensation: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (DOQ)

Position Overview

ICG is seeking an early career Civil Engineer with 0–5 years of experience to join our team. This role focuses on the planning and design of diverse site development and public works projects, including hydrology, utilities, and roadway improvements. We offer a stable, collaborative environment for professionals looking to lead high-profile projects for public, private, and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering: Develop conceptual designs, construction drawings, and technical specifications using AutoCAD Civil3D and Carlson Civil.

• Technical Analysis: Conduct independent engineering calculations and prepare comprehensive technical reports/studies.

• Agency Processing: Navigate planning and design approvals through various public and private agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Licensure: EIT highly desired.

• Experience: 0-5 years in civil engineering, specifically within site/land development or public works.

• Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Carlson Civil highly desired.

• Skills: Solid education in fundamentals of engineering, math, or physics.
